Cost of tuition for the course: £250pp (members £180) plus £50 for canoe hire, max participants: 8
Participants should already have completed our canoe training weekend or have equivalent experience.
Details: We will be based on an idyllic campsite on the shores of Loch Sheil and will use this as a base to explore inland and seaward on Lochs Sheil, Moidart and Sunart on day journeys in remote wilderness, fabulous scenery and with fabulous wildlife. You will be supported by an expert canoe leader, but this course in not for novices! Participants should cook and support themselves on a basic campsite, tuition will cover the journeys each day. The exact programme will be determined by the weather conditions on the day.
All canoe equipment will be supplied as part of the event, but if you prefer to bring your own that is fine. Participants should supply there own tent and stove, although equipment may be avaialble to borrow for the event from our store by pre-arrangement.
Pick-up can be arranged from Stirling train station.
