3 days of the best mountain biking routes in the UK

The Seven Staines mountain biking off-road trails set the standard for remote single track trail riding in the UK. In a weekend full of the thrills of shredding routes, we will explore several of the 7-staines routes in Dumfries and Galloway and Scottish Borders, in the South of Scotland.

• Difficulty Level: Moderate, but you must be competent to ride long, continuous, remote single-track routes.

• Cost of guiding: £60 per person, (members £30).

For experienced and hardy mountain bikers, a fun packed thrill-laden experience. Within a social group we will ride some of the routes, focussing on red routes but with options for harder of less difficult routes as well.

Over the course of the weekend, we will attempt to complete 4 extended red routes on the 7 Stanes mountain bike routes. The riding will be informally guided, you must be a competent rider at this level to join. 

You will need to bring your own bike suitable for the conditions. Either a high-spec hardtail mountain bike, or  a full-suspension mountain bike. Clothing suitable for continuous long remote riding in Scottish forest in Autumn! We will also be popping into the cafes for calories and coffees!

Expect outrageous fun on continuous single track routes. This is the best off-road riding in the UK!

Pick-up and drop off is possible from Carlisle train station by pre-arrangement.
