This one is not to be missed! Journey on the longest river in Scotland and Great Britain, travelling from the Scottish Highlands to the Scottish east coast. We will guide you on this beautiful, exciting and wildlife-rich trip from Pitlochery to Perth.

About the Event

Difficulty Level: Advanced. (Those with limited experience of canoe river journeys, MUST complete the canoe training available in May or July first.)

Cost of guiding:  £300 per person, (members £200), plus canoe hire £50 per boat.

Experience a journey on Great Britain’s longest and biggest river system. You will be guided down the length of the River Tay to the start of the estuary at Perth. Accommodation will be on the river bank, where we will camp each night. The river provides constant interest and a few sections of excitement. The landscape is endlessly fascinating, with a wide range of wildlife encountered on each journey.

Canoes and paddling equipment will be provided, you will need to bring your own clothing and camping and cooking equipment. Guides will support with the wild camping as with the paddling.

Pick-up and drop off is possible from Perth train station by pre-arrangement.
