In this expedition, we will aim to traverse the Scottish Highlands from West to East along Scotland’s great canal route, by canoe. Travelling on open lochs linked by sections of rivers and canals, this route is surprisingly remote and filled with wildlife interest.

If you want to gain the confidence to paddle in canoes to explore UK still waters independently and safely, this tutored course will give you the knowledge and skills to plan, prepare and travel on lakes, lochs and slow-flowing rivers with confidence and safety.

Canoeing River Expedition Training Weekend

Focused coaching to develop advanced skills for river expeditions. This weekend will enable participants to develop, improve, and refine more advanced paddling skills to undertake expeditions on grade 2 and 3 rivers.
