Members Weekend

Join The Expedition Club members, this time in the Scottish Borders, for our usual end of year celebration of British outdoor adventure. A weekend of exciting mixed activities for members and former members only.

• 12-noon Saturday 25th October – 3pm Tuesday 28th Oct 2025

• Group base: Newcastleton bunkhouse, 4 S Hermitage St, Newcastleton TD9 0QR

• Canoeing on Border Esk and River Annan, Mountain biking Ae, Mabie and Newcastleton (7 Staines forest trails)

• Difficulty Level: Moderate, but join whichever parts of the weekend you want, or do your own thing

• Cost: Free to all members and former members of The Expedition Club

We will be getting together to enjoy the best of just over the border: Canoeing, Mountain biking, shared meals and great pubs. Accommodation available at Newcastleton bunkhouse, or make your own arrangements (accommodation costs will be shared). We will supply canoes and canoeing equipment. Bring everything else for our activity-based social weekend.
